Client briefing 02 · Booking

Understanding Your Charter Quote

The most useful quotation makes the complete commitment understandable before you pay.

A charter price may include positioning, handling, parking, crew costs and taxes as well as flight time. Two headline figures can represent materially different arrangements.

Compare like with like

Review the proposed aircraft, legal operator, itinerary, passenger and baggage assumptions, expected stops and timing. Confirm which arrangements are firm and which remain subject to operational approval.

Understand inclusions

Ask what is included, excluded or adjustable, and which additional charges could arise for the proposed itinerary. Catering, de-icing, airport costs, extended waiting or itinerary changes may be treated differently by different quotations.

Read the applicable terms

Identify when the quotation expires, what secures the booking, which cancellation provisions apply and what happens if the proposed aircraft becomes unavailable.

Before you book, ask

  • What is included, excluded or adjustable?
  • Which additional charges could arise?
  • When does the quote expire and what secures the booking?
